Grief and Bereavement
Grief is not something to be fixed or rushed. It is a natural response to loss — whether through bereavement, the loss of a relationship, health, identity, or a future once imagined.
Grief affects the whole system: mind, body, and nervous system. It can show up as anxiety, numbness, exhaustion, guilt, anger, or a sense of disorientation. Many people feel pressure to “move on” while their body and emotions are still trying to make sense of what has happened.
I offer trauma-informed support that allows space for grief while also helping individuals regain a sense of safety and grounding.
This work focuses on:
Supporting the nervous system during acute and ongoing grief
Understanding how grief shows up in thoughts, emotions, and the body
Exploring the meaning of the loss and how it impacts identity and relationships
Allowing growth around grief rather than pushing it away
Finding ways to live alongside loss with compassion and stability
Grief changes us — but with support, it does not have to close us down. It can become part of a deeper reconnection to life, meaning, and self.
